Stand Up Pddle Tours

The Lisbon Surf Center, is a surf school and Stand Up Paddle inserted in one of the most beautiful beaches in Europa for Surfing and Stand Up Paddle in the area of the great Lisbon (Costa da Caparica). We organize SUP tours in the natural park of the beaches of Sesimbra, Arrábida and Albufeira Lagoon .

The great goal of our school is to provide our students with fantastic and diverse experiences in the adventures of Stand Up Paddle Tours for the fantastic beaches surrounding the great Lisbon.

Stand up paddle

Stand up paddle for all ages.

Class initiation:
- Familiarization with the material; adaptation to the aquatic environment; knowledge of safety rules; base position rowing techniques; observation of weather conditions;
Objectives:
- Improve the posture and base position of the paddling; improve the reading of adverse weather conditions; improve or perfect rowing techniques.

Introduction to Stand Up Paddle for beginners or improved rowing technique for advanced practitioners. Followed by a stroll on one of the most beautiful beaches in Portugal, Arrábida (Praia do Creiro), Sesimbra (Praia da Ribeira do Cavalo) ou Albufeira Lagoon.

Stand Up Paddle Tours Programs - Arrábida - Sesimbra - Lagoon Albufeira

Arrábida SUP Tour

The tours last for about two hours, with departures from Praia do Creiro.
Main objective:
Introduction to Stand Up Paddle for beginners or improvement of the smooth water paddling technique for advanced athletes, followed by a walk along the banks of the Arrábida Natural Park with passage through Portinho da Arrábida.
Activity Type: Stand Up Paddle
Difficulty: Easy
Duration: About 2 hours
Location: Praia do Creiro - Alpertuche - Praia do Creiro (circular circuit)
Objective:
Intriduccion to the Stand Up Paddle for beginners or improvement of the paddling technique in smooth water for advanced athletes, followed by a walk along the banks of the Arrábida Natural Park with passage through Portinho da Arrábida.
Minimum Age: 8 years
Meeting time: 09:30h at Praia do Creiro (main beach entrance)
Start time: 10h:00m
Includes: Surfboard, Oar, neoprene suit, water

SUP Tour Program Sesimbra

We will embark on an adventure leaving the harbor, next to the Naval Club of Sesimbra and with a stop on the beautiful beach of Ribeiro Cavalo. This is surely a great way to visit and discover all the corners of the beautiful coast of Sesimbra in one of the most natural and environmentally friendly ways. You, an oar and a board !.

This tour lasts approximately 3 hours and the distance traveled is approximately 6km. For your safety the tour has a support boat and the use of a vest (provided by the School) is compulsory. During the tour you will also be offered a bottle of water and a small snack.

Duration: 3 hours (morning)
Equipment: Stand Up Paddle Board, Adjustable Rowing, Flotation Vest and Neoprene Wetsuit.
Meeting point and time: 09:30, Next to the Naval Club of Sesimbra, Port of Abrigo de Sesimbra.

Program SUP Tour Lagoon Albufeira

The tours last for about two hours, with departures on the south side of the Lagoon on the north side, with passage through the large dune to be able to enjoy the beautiful view over the entire lagoon. Main objective: Introduction to Stand Up Paddle for beginners or improvement of the technique of smooth water paddling for advanced Athletes, followed by a walk along the shore of the lagoon of Albufeira.

Advice: Sunscreen, hat and comfortable clothing to wear on the water.
